Hi everyone today I am going to look at the best toys for bored pug puppies. I will give you my favorites.
You're home after a tiring day at the job. You've stood all day, and now you are looking forward to relaxing in a pair of slippers. You look for your slippers, only to find that your puppy has chewed them up.
Dogs are left on their own while we are at work and are usually left with a lot of excess energy at the end of each day. Bored dogs are always getting into trouble. They are simply trying to find ways to entertain themselves.
How can you make sure this doesn't keep happening? Can you get your pug to chew something else?
No, you can't really stop a puppy from chewing.
For a pug puppy, chewing on things is the same as a human baby reaching out and feeling things. It's a way to explore and learn about their world.
For adult dogs, chewing is nature’s way of keeping jaws strong and teeth clean. Chewing also combats boredom. It can relieve anxiety or frustration. Without an acceptable outlet for the natural instinct to chew, many dogs will turn to destructive chewing in the home.
Success comes when teaching dogs acceptable chewing behaviors from the start.
Food dispensing toys such as the Kong Puppy Activity Ball or Bob-A-Lot are easy ways to add some mental stimulation. Interactive dog toys are a great way to keep your dog occupied. A ball can be a lot of fun. My dogs love playing with these all by themselves but enjoy them even more if I play with them when I get home.
One of Bellamy's favorite things in the world is a frozen peanut butter filled Kong Classic. When I leave she doesn’t even look up; she’s too busy working on that toy. I’d recommend a Kong to anyone that’s looking for a simple toy that will keep your dog busy.

Picking out the best toys for your little friend isn’t going to be all that easy. There are so many possible choices. Quite often, after agonizing over which toy to buy you get it home and, your pug almost never plays with it.
So, why are dogs so choosy? How are they going to decide which toy they like best?
All of our pug's toys have names. He will go and find a toy by name. It's amusing to see him digging through his toy box until he finds his Kong Low Stuffing with Squeaker Dog Toy, Barney Bear or Freddie the Frog.
Bellamy likes to collect from all over the house. He puts them in his Cozy Cave Pet Bed before joining them for a fabulous sleepover.

According to recent studies, dogs get bored with the same old toys. To keep them interested only give them access to a few at a time.
1.0 Some dogs find dog squeak toys more interesting.
2.0 Dogs like all toys at first but once they become familiar with them they gradually begin to lose interest.
3.0 They like it best when you join in the game.
4.0 Pugs usually think of their toys as prey. That's why they like plush dog toys that either taste good, can be ripped up, or that make a noise.
For Your Pug, nothing beats playing with you. Toys that are not too hard and can be chewed easily or toys that challenge your Pugs mind are more likely to become favorites.
Warning: Please bear in mind that pieces from toys that can easily be torn apart can accidentally choke your dog.
So, which are the best toys for playing outdoors? These are my dog's most favorite toys.
If you have any recommendations I would love to hear them. Just leave a comment in the box below this post.
